Originally built in the 1970s as science classrooms for high school students, the Middle School science labs have been remodeled based on innovative designs by local architecture firm PWWG, with construction completed by Jendoco Construction.
The redesign has transformed the Middle's School's lower level, which now features highly flexible classrooms, a reconfigured hallway and bathroom area, and a brand new elevator to provide better access between both floors of the Middle School. These modern, adaptable, inviting spaces allow students and faculty to move seamlessly between group projects, lab experiments, discussions, and presentations—living fully into Ellis’ belief that middle school scientists learn best through hands-on experiences and collaborative problem solving.
