Lower School Physical Education/Health Instructor

The Ellis School, the only pre-K to grade 12 independent day school for girls in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a full-time physical education and health instructor for Lower School beginning immediately. Responsibilities include teaching physical education and health in the Lower School and coaching two seasons of Middle or Upper School athletic teams after school.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to athletics and/or education, experience working in athletics with children ages 3-10, and experience coaching youth team sports. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a school setting, a strong sense of school community and teamwork, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
