Part-Time Receptionist
The Ellis School, the only pre-kindergarten–grade 12 independent day school for girls in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a part-time Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for providing a welcoming and helpful presence for evening visitors to The Ellis School. Candidates for this role will have well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task. This person will demonstrate a high level of personal and professional conduct with faculty, staff, students, and the overall school community. This is an hourly, on-site position, working from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Compensation will be $15-18 per hour.
Receptionist Responsibilities:Help the School adhere to safety protocols by vetting School visitors, leading them through the visitor registration process, and directing visitors around campus accordingly.
Answer or refer inquiries, and provide approved information to parents, students, school personnel, and the public over the telephone and in person.
Perform duties that include receiving visitors, screening telephone calls and sorting mail, and fielding communications to the appropriate office or individual.
