We are pleased to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2015. This tight-knit group of 30 young women has been accepted to more than 80 colleges and universities, listed below. Even more remarkable is that 100% of those who sought college merit scholarships received awards.
Impressive College Choices
Students in the Class of 2015 have enrolled at 28 colleges and universities that are as diverse and exciting as the interests of each student in the Class.
Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, Brown, and University of Chicago—which admit fewer than 10% of applicants and are among the most selective in the country—have ALL admitted at least one Ellis student this year.
90% of the Class will be attending a top-choice college and 50% of the Class will attend a school to which they were admitted through an early acceptance program.
Outstanding Test Results
The Class of 2015 had mean SAT scores of 1,933 on a 2,400 scale. This is 437 points above the national average. When compared to the national average for girls, Ellis students’ scores are even more impressive.
The Class of 2015 had a mean ACT score of 29, which places our students in the 93rd percentile when compared to all test takers nationally.

Poised for Success
Though interscholastic athletics are not required, 77% of the Class of 2015 participated in at least one sport in their Upper School career. This prepares them for healthy, balanced lives in and after college: 86% of Ellis graduates currently enrolled in college now play on a collegiate or intramural team or exercise on their own.
Please join me in congratulating these exceptional young women for their scholarly achievements and for their many contributions as friends, athletes, artists, scholars, and leaders.
